How the Scripture Jar Works
Each scripture is color-coded to help children and teens quickly find guidance when they need it most.
Step 1 : Identify the Emotion
Children look at the jar label and find the color that matches what they are feeling — whether it's worry, anger, loneliness, or another emotion.
Step 2: Choose the Color That Matches the Emotion
They pull a scripture slip from the jar that matches the color connected to their emotion.

>Gratitude.........Green >Worry............Orange
>Loneliness......Blue >Anger............Red
Children and teens simply choose the color that matches how they feel.
Step 3: Read the Scripture
Each slip includes:
-The scripture reference
-The entire scripture written out
This makes it easy for children ages 8-18 to read the scripture without needing to search for it.
Reading the scripture helps shift the moment from frustration to reflection, inviting the Spirit and reminding them of truth.
Step 4: Read the Simple Affirmation
Under each scripture is a short a faith-centered affirmation that simplifies the message of the verse.
This helps children understand the meaning of the scripture in a way that feels clear and encouraging.
